Stitch Fix Review #2

 Stitch Fix #2

Things have been wild around here but many of you have been asking to see my latest "fix". So here it is!

I would rather not show you all the pictures but I will, despite my utter displeasure and horror.

My Stitch Fix box arrived 2 days early this time! That's awesome considering how impatient and anxious I become as my "Fix" approaches. I have problems. Lol

   FIX # 2 !!!!!

1. Paloma Cutout Jersey Top

I liked the feel of this top but it was ALL WRONG for me. So a huge no.
Status- sent back.

2. Roxanna Chevron Open knit Cardigan.

I really wanted to like this. The color was wonderfully coral and it was very soft. Even though it seemed to overwhelm my short stature I would have kept it, however it had some structural issues. The knitting seemed to be pulling away at the seams. This cardigan would not have a chance in my possession.

3. Aimes Crochet Belted Fit and Flare Dress

This dress had my name written all over it. A huge A+. It fit beautifully. However, I already own a white dress and I am quite fond of it so this one had to go back.

4. Pierson Lace Detailed Short Sleeve Shirt

This was a lovely mint and white shirt. It had gorgeous lace detail along the neck line.
I wanted to love this one as well but I was not comfortable in it and felt that it made me appear larger than normal.
Status-sent back.

5. Mickey Jeweled Collar Peplum Top

Okay. I adore this top. I have always wanted to try a peplum top and it is officially my new favorite kind of blouse. This was a winner from the jeweled neck line to the zipper in the back. Love at first sight.
Status - KEPT

Will I do Stitch Fix again? ABSOLUTELY! Is it worth it? YES! Is it fun? YOU BET!

God is Not Unfair

I'm sad. I'm broken. I'm hurting. I'm feeling pain, anger, frustration, guilt, and completely out of control. Im exhausted, overwhelmed, out of sorts, and in a state of shock. Broken hearted, disgusted and flat out mad. I've cried and cried and when I didn't think there were any more tears, I cried some more.       After 2 years of wondering if I'd ever get pregnant again, we found out we were going to have a baby. We were busting at the seams, trying not to let the cat out of the bag until we could go see our families. I'd organized and lined up crib options, pulled out all my maternity clothes, and tried my best to resist the urge to bring all the baby gear up from the basement. I looked at books to read to my son in preparation for a sibling, made my prenatal appointment, and took my first photo to compare as my belly would grow.       A few days later, we learned that we had lost this one.     I lai...

"The Merm"

Even as a child, I tried to look my very best when leaving the house. Some people were just naturally blessed with the ability to roll out of bed and look angelic but others, like myself, need a few coats of primer and a lion tamer before heading out the front door. This is especially evident in teenage girls once they realize that they can take control of their hair, face and style.    BUT....   What about those poor defenseless grade schoolers? I know I've mentioned before that my grade school years were THE WORST. It's such an awkward time. Imagine walking around, completely unaware and disconnected from the fact that you have toothpaste around your mouth, gum in your hair, and toilet paper hanging out of your pants. You live in bliss until one day, your classmates begin to develop that self awareness before you do. GREAT.    With that in mind, let's talk about parents. I truly believe that my parents had my best interest at hea...
