Stitch Fix 3, 4, & 5! AMAZING!

So it's been quite a while since I've posted. Things have been quite busy in the Wall household. As busy as things were, I did manage to snap a few pictures of the items sent to me from Stitch Fix, however hectic the method was.
I do apologize, I am on the road and don't have my style cards with me. I may have to add those later, if at all.

What was in Stitch Fix #3

1. That Dress! - I loved it but I didn't love the price. Imagine a dress that felt like pajamas. Yup. Amazing!

2. Tear drop tassle necklace - it was a nice heavy piece. Great quality just not "me". It was a little long on me as well. I just didn't see this necklace surviving motherhood.

3. Chevron Blouse- I loved it! Again with the pajamas! This shirt was fabulous.
Status- kept

4. Yellow pants and Blouse- I saw this outfit of Pinterest and pinned it to my Stitch Fix board. I love that my stylist took the time to look at my Pinterest and opted to let me try this one on. I loved the color combination but those pants were way too expensive for my liking. The fit just wasn't right either. The blouse was great, however my budget at the time didn't allow for both blouses, so this one went back.

What was in Stitch Fix #4

1. Mariah Jeweled Statement Necklace- I squealed when I opened my box. I instantly fell in love with this piece. It is very heavy and best of all... sparkly! Many of you know I am a lover of all things shiny. ;) This item was listed at $42, and a huge thank you to one of my friends who tried Stitch Fix, I received a credit. This allowed me to get this necklace for $17. Thank you so much! I REALLY appreciate that you used my link!!!
Status - Kept.

2. Mike Floral Fit & Flare Dress- This dress was beautiful and was a PERFECT fit. I consulted the husband and this was his favorite out of the whole box. I really wanted to keep this dress, however the zipper kept getting stuck just under the waistline so I decided to pass on this one.
Staus- sent back

3. Delmare Elephant Print Blouse- Adorable little elephants! This was one of my Pinterest "interests". I'm so glad I had the oportunity to try on this top. I tried everything in my power to make this work. I loved those tiny little elephants. It was just too big. I'm hoping to see it in a smaller size some day!

4. Skirt and blouse- The lace detail on this blouse was beautiful but the price was not. It was also too big. I was not wild about the skirt until I tried it on. It was fully lined, had slight stretch, and ..... POCKETS! It was also a hair shorter than I am used to but to my suprise I liked it. The waist was a little too big as well.
Status- Both sent back

Fix 5

Again, my stylist sent some awesome stuff!

1. Alena Lace Detailed Dress- This dress fit beautifully, however the zipper was terrible. It was a metal zipper and I like to never got it to zip up nor down.

2. Sandie Geo Diamond Print Pencil Skirt- This was my husband's favorite peice in the box but I was loving a couple of other things. The fit was lovely and I loved the color/fit.
Status- Sent back

3. Adan Geo Print Shift Dress- I LOVE IT! Soft, cuddly, navy blue. Awesome print. This was a great find.
Status-KEPT!

4. Crista 3/4 Sleeve Lace Knit Shirt- I really liked this shirt. I'm partial to coral anyhow but the style was very flattering on. It also has a nice gold zipper going up the back. This was definitely an item that I would not have chosen for myself. (There was also a soft white "Stitch Fix" cami folded in with it as an added bonus) We gals can always use a cami! ;)
Status-Kept

5. Kaleigh Ankle Biter Skinny Jeans - What can I say. These jeans were a nice dark wash, stretchy, soft, comfy, and minimized some things I'd like to disappear. I would have loved to keep these but they were a whopping $88. Ahhhhhhh! I won't under any circumstances pay that much for pants. Just won't happen, especially if I know I can pick up my perfect "Ellie" jeans at Maurices for $29. Sorry, Stitch Fix, not happening, EVER.

I've requested the same stylist for these past 3 fixes and I must say, she has nailed it! I really loved everything, however not everything has fit quite right. That's not Stitch Fix's fault. Last month I gained a few pounds and this month due to proper diet, exercise, and one mild stomach flu, I dropped more than a few pounds.
I'm really enjoying Stitch Fix! It's very convenient and it's like a little treat to myself each month. You can schedule your "fix" for every 2-3 weeks, once a month, every bimonthly or just as desired. If you'd like to give Stitch Fix a try, please use my link below! I guarantee much joy, leaping, and many thanks will follow. ;) I truly appreciate all of my blog readers!

Here's the Link! Enjoy & Let me know how you like Stitch Fix!

Cats, Piñatas, and Self Defense

It was December 2006. I wasn't yet married and was sharing an apartment with my maid of honor. I was thrilled that she moved in with me. She brought friendship, kindness, and joy into my  apartment. She covered half the rent and forced me to be organized, which was quite necessary.           As she moved in, box after box was stacked up around her room, leaving only a small path from the door to her bed. Among the many things that she brought into our apartment, was a furry gray cat. Now listen. I'm allergic to cats. Up to this point I didn't quite care for them, but for my dear friend, I was willing to make things work. I would not only try to tolerate the cat but become friends with it and do whatever else cat people do.          Christmas was quickly approaching and the wrapping of gifts had commenced. My room mate was down the street with family. So I put on my brand new pj's and proceeded to wrap my gifts, but I needed tape. I walked through the tiny

God is Not Unfair

I'm sad. I'm broken. I'm hurting. I'm feeling pain, anger, frustration, guilt, and completely out of control. Im exhausted, overwhelmed, out of sorts, and in a state of shock. Broken hearted, disgusted and flat out mad. I've cried and cried and when I didn't think there were any more tears, I cried some more.       After 2 years of wondering if I'd ever get pregnant again, we found out we were going to have a baby. We were busting at the seams, trying not to let the cat out of the bag until we could go see our families. I'd organized and lined up crib options, pulled out all my maternity clothes, and tried my best to resist the urge to bring all the baby gear up from the basement. I looked at books to read to my son in preparation for a sibling, made my prenatal appointment, and took my first photo to compare as my belly would grow.       A few days later, we learned that we had lost this one.     I laid down that night not knowing how I w

Stitch Fix Review #2

Stitch Fix #2    Things have been wild around here but many of you have been asking to see my latest "fix". So here it is!     I would rather not show you all the pictures but I will, despite my utter displeasure and horror.     My Stitch Fix box arrived 2 days early this time! That's awesome considering how impatient and anxious I become as my "Fix" approaches. I have problems. Lol     FIX # 2 !!!!!  1. Paloma Cutout Jersey Top  I liked the feel of this top but it was ALL WRONG for me. So a huge no.  Status- sent back.  2. Roxanna Chevron Open knit Cardigan.     I really wanted to like this. The color was wonderfully coral and it was very soft. Even though it seemed to overwhelm my short stature I would have kept it, however it had some structural issues. The knitting seemed to be pulling away at the seams. This cardigan would not have a chance in my possession.  Status- sent back  3. Aimes Crochet
